Awards and Certifications
In 2024, Bryan Patton was recognized as a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) by the PPA. Certification involves a written exam regarding all issues and technical details affecting professional photographers as well as an evaluation of the photographers skill in producing a series of images. Professional Photographers of America (PPA.com) is the leading body for certifying imaging professionals. Certification must be renewed on a periodic basis, ensuring continued confidence in the professionalism of Certified Professional Photographers.
In February 2024, Bryan Patton won a silver award for an image submitted in Flashmasters Collection 11. The quality of the work produced by flashmasters members is truly humbling to photographers. It is an honor to have won any award from this group. Flash Masters is more than just a website or ‘just another awards.’ It is a brand and a community working together to inspire, educate and celebrate the best flash photography in the world and we are so glad you have found us!
Bryan Patton has been a member of the PPA since 2017. We're the world's largest nonprofit photography association organized for professional photographers, by professional photographers, and you help us be 35,000 strong...present in more than 50 countries. The PPA has existed since 1880.
PPA is a great resource for elevating your craft. It's a link to online education, live classes, business assistance, and equipment insurance. It's ya peer-to-peer support group, an advocate for copyright protection, and a source for news and info about the industry. Being a member of the PPA is an indication that the photographer is serious invested in their career and is willing to work hard to prove their worth.
