We don’t pretend to have magical powers of persuasion or try to trick you into spending more through sales calls. We give the advice to our clients that we would want to receive if the roles were reversed.
We deliver digitally and provide rights to print your images wherever you like. You have the option to print with us, but we never require it.

We used to have a long and detailed explanation here explaining what goes into providing quality wedding photography. However, after years of discussing the topic with people that think a photographer is just a person who has a camera, we recognize that if that is your mindset there are plenty of people out there with cameras that you can turn to. If you’re looking for a professional that can provide peace of mind, quality images, a personality that will add to your day rather than detract from it, and you like the work you see on our page please give us a call and we can talk more.

Our approach to wedding photography has 3 parts.
First, we are there to document your day. Documentary or authentic could be used to describe some of our images from every wedding day. Candid is also a word that could be used to describe these. We try to show you in the best light, but also work hard to show your personality and the moments that made your day special.
The second part of the equation is our general editing style. We embrace the idea that wedding photos should be both timeless and cinematic. What we mean by timeless is true color and the light that was present on your day. Many photographers will desaturate colors, over or under expose images or add a strong color cast. They may do that even if it doesn’t suit your wedding day. We want you to be proud to share these images and remember the day 20 or 30 years from now. Trends pass quickly. We try not to fall into trends and go overboard, while still keeping our techniques and style up to date. If the setting is right we will lean into a light and airy feeling. If the sun is low in the sky and creating some beautiful yellows and oranges, we may accentuate this a bit. If the fall colors are here in force, we love to play with reds and yellows. If the sky is dark we may lean into a moody and dramatic feeling. We don’t make your wedding memories about us. We tell your story like it was with some embellishment when appropriate.
The final part to our style is that we enjoy getting creative and delivering a few works of art. These usually take the form of dramatic portraits, vivid colors, off camera flash and playing with shadows. “Low key” portraits with vivid colors are some of our favorite things to do.
While we would love to give you a few buzz words to put us in a box, our style of wedding photography is not that simple. The best way to decide if you like our style is to look at our images and decide if they suit you.
We are not a one size fits all type of photographer because one size wouldn’t fit all the people that love our work and whom we love to work with. Life is boring without some variety.
